I’m a Strategy Coach and Founder of a Community for Creative Female Entrepreneurs 

My name is Jacklyn Collins, and I am a certified strategy coach based just outside of Toronto, Canada. My purpose is to empower visionary female entrepreneurs by equipping them with strategic tools and fostering a supportive community, enabling them to achieve remarkable success in their businesses. 

Throughout my upbringing, I witnessed the extraordinary perseverance of my mother, a single parent and entrepreneur who faced the challenge of keeping her business afloat. Inspired by her unwavering determination, I began working at a young age to provide both myself and my mother with financial support. Her remarkable resilience and drive have served as a constant source of strength and inspiration, fueling my ambition and propelling me forward to this day.

From Settling for Survival to Pursuing Passion and Purpose

For years, I held onto jobs for financial security, unaware that I was creating an unhealthy environment for myself. Settling for positions that weren’t aligned with my true calling just to make ends meet left me feeling unfulfilled. It took a great deal of self-reflection and personal development to realize that I needed to let go of things and environments that didn’t serve my peace, desires, goals, and dreams. 

During my mid to late twenties, I had a significant transformation in my mindset due to my personal development journey. I realized the value and worth of my existence as a human being, which motivated me to strive for a serious change in my life. Instead of settling for any job that paid the bills, I made a conscious decision to concentrate on my long-term vision and goals for the future. I craved a sense of purpose and authenticity in my work, and I wanted to make a meaningful impact. In 2018, I earned my certification as a strategy coach, and I’ve recently gained invaluable marketing experience which has fuelled my creative side. This path has proven to be my calling, and I’m fully committed to pursuing it with passion and dedication.

The Power of Community

As I observed my mother’s entrepreneurial journey, I noticed a significant gap in her experience: the absence of a supportive community of like-minded individuals. Even though she was driven and determined to succeed, there were times when she felt alone and unsupported, particularly as a single mother. This realization led me to understand that having a supportive network is essential for all entrepreneurs, no matter how ambitious or independent they are.

Having a supportive network provides a crucial space for entrepreneurs to share ideas, gain feedback, and receive valuable insights from others on a similar path. Building a business can be challenging, and having a community to rely on can make a significant difference in achieving success. To address this gap, I founded the Creative Female Entrepreneurs group on Facebook, specifically catering to creative, ambitious female entrepreneurs looking for strategic coaching and a supportive community.

My vision is to create a safe and supportive space where everyone feels welcome and valued. Whether you’re starting out or have been in business for a while, our community is here to help you grow and succeed. The group provides an opportunity to share your experiences, challenges, and successes along the way. There is access to free resources and tools which can make this journey a lot more manageable and enjoyable. 

Leaving a Lasting Impact

As human beings, we only have a limited amount of time on this planet. The clock is ticking, and each day is precious. Therefore, it’s crucial to be intentional with our time and make the most of every moment. One way to do that is by pursuing our goals and dreams. However, many of us get sidetracked or discouraged by setbacks along the way. We might feel like giving up or settling for less than we truly desire. But it’s essential to remember that settling for less means we may never achieve our full potential.

By working together and supporting each other, we can overcome obstacles and achieve our goals. Whether we’re pursuing personal or professional goals, having people around us who believe in us and lift us up can make all the difference.

When we work towards making a positive impact on the world, our efforts become even more meaningful. We can leave a lasting legacy by contributing to something greater than ourselves. Together, there is nothing we can’t accomplish. Let’s lift each other up as we pursue our dreams and work towards making the world a better place.
