Tell us who you are background:
My name is Selam Ameha, I am a digital entrepreneur and a mentor helping and inspiring ambitious people like myself to generate revenue online.
I finished my undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo, and I am currently continuing my studies in Health Informatics while building my empire online.
My entrepreneurship journey started when I decided to step out of my comfort zone and take a leap of faith. I am now inspiring others to take action and change their lives. I am a firm believer that real growth requires stepping out of the ordinary and experiencing discomfort. We already know that we cannot expect change and growth by doing the same things we have been doing over and over again in our lives.
How did you get here, what inspired you?
Growing up, I was constantly told to study hard, get good grades and land a good job and that will be my life. That principle shaped my life and taught me how to be disciplined, driven and consistent, but deep down I also knew that following only that path was not going to fulfill my life. I knew I was meant for more and I had a different vision! A vision to work for myself, enjoy the freedom and contribute to my community in a non-traditional way.
Although I enjoy learning and got the most valuable personal and professional life experiences from it, the void that I had for more kept growing and a degree and a “nice” job was not going to satisfy it.
That is when I started exploring the world of entrepreneurship and the idea of working for myself. I tried numerous types of ventures, until one day I came across an ad that led me to this wonderful path in my life. Shortly put, the ad was about leveraging different social media platforms to generate revenue.
I signed up for the info session, learned about the business model, asked a ton of questions, and started seeing the potential of the business. However, that was not enough, I remained skeptical at first until I exhausted every possibility and told myself if I don’t take this leap of faith then I was doomed to a life of mediocrity and I could not have that!
Fast forward to today, I am now helping and mentoring people to set up their own successful digital business and generate income from anywhere they are in the world. I do it all from my phone or a laptop in the comfort of my home or anywhere in the world.
