1. Read

It’s proven and experts agree that successful people read before going to sleep. This isn’t necessarily mean they read business or something inspirational. Successful people want to find value in being browsers of information doesn’t matter what it is or from what sources it is. They all believe it will help them get creative in their lives.

2. Make a list, a to-do list

As we know, we go to bed and all of sudden we are getting reminded of all the things we do. Usually, people just keep thinking, and thinking and do nothing about it. Well here it is, instead of just overthinking about all the things you still have to do, you can just make a to-do list. Try this and you will sleep much easier.

3. Spend quality time with family

Instead of spending your last minutes before sleeping on social media or anything that is just not doing anything for you, you should spend time with family(online since we live in covid times). Even if they are nowhere close to you at the moment, you can at least give them a call.

4. Reflect on the day

This one is one of the hardest one, because of how many of us spend our days without looking back on it. We don’t reflect on the day. If you keep a journal, it will make you appreciate every day. Also, you will look back on the day and learn from it.

5. Meditate

And this one is probably the hardest one. Meditate, there are so many ways to meditate, people who do this can control basically everything in their lives. So it’s never too late to learn how to meditate and then keep doing it. 10 minutes should be enough to quiet your body and mind.

6. Plan out sleep

Making getting enough sleep a priority can be a huge challenge for workaholics and entrepreneurs. But if you plan out sleep, by this we mean to make a schedule, a schedule of what time you are going to sleep and what time you are setting an alarm. This way you can control your sleep better.

7. Disconnect from work

You may not believe this but truly successful people do anything but work right before going to bed. A truly successful person knows when to do that. Working right before you get to sleep is not healthy. And usually not even productive you want to give yourself a break which is going to focus on sleeping.

8. Think and look forward to something positive/ picture tomorrow’s success

You will never fall asleep if you are replaying negative situations. Just forget whatever it is, and focus your last hour before you get to sleep, on something positive. It can be something very simple, like looking forward to how tasty your meal is going to be the next day, or how great the weather will be tomorrow. It can be small things it can be big things. Whatever makes you forget negative situations.

9. Practice gratitude

Taking a moment to think about what you are grateful for can help you shift your focus from any negative thoughts or stress from the day. You can write down three things you are grateful for or just think about them before you go to sleep.

10.Stretch or do light exercises

Doing some light stretching or exercises before bed can help you relax and improve your sleep quality. Yoga or gentle stretching can also help release any tension you may be holding in your body.
