Things That Make You an Unattractive Lady Boss

Like the famous saying ‘Mirror Mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all’ from the fabled tale of Snow White,  we often look, ask or tell ourselves things that actually do not serve us. Read on Things That Make You an Unattractive Lady Boss.

If we were not able to have reflective surfaces, our faces would actually be the only face in the world that we would not be able to see with our own eyes. This mirrors the perception of others versus the perception that we have of ourselves.

Here are The ‘Poisoned Apples’ that you want to avoid ‘eating’ no matter how seductive it is.

Things That Make You an Unattractive Lady Boss

Seeing Potential in Others But Not Yourself

It is all too easy to see the potential for greatness in others, however you must believe this of yourself – always! Whether you are at a high or low, fast or slow point of your journey you need to persevere and always maintain a steadfast belief in yourself no matter what.

Seeing Beauty in Others But Not Yourself

It is also all too easy to see the beauty – both inside and out – of those around you or those you admire in life. Take time to discover your own beauty and what makes you YOU, what makes you similar enough to connect with others and also what makes you unique and special.

Being Judgemental

Outside the courts of law, the passing judgement does not serve anyone, including yourself. Be careful that what you consider an opinion of something or someone is not actually judgement. This is not to say that if something or someone is wrong you cannot call it for what it is, however, you need to be solution-focused, which means you are focusing your energy and efforts on moving forward.

Comparing Your Journey With Others

Comparison is the Death of dreams and success. It is incredibly easy to compare ourselves and our journeys with those around us, those we admire and aspire to be like or are learning from. Understand one thing – be patient with the process. We all want to know ‘When’ things that we want are going to happen, but the journey is even more important than the destination at times. Respect the process and it will always give you exactly what you need to achieve what you want.

Focusing on Others instead of Yourself

When you watch an athlete in a race, they do not look at others, instead, they are focusing on the goal in front of them. While it is important to know who your competition is, and in some cases, they set the bar of which you want to hit and even surpass, your greatest competition is yourself. When you focus on leveling up and hitting new heights, you will empower yourself for greatness.

Living But Not Learning

‘Live and Learn’, it seems self-explanatory however it can be easily forgotten. Every day is an opportunity for learning. Learning comes in all shapes and forms, good and bad, so be mindful that you always look at what you can learn from your day-to-day and overall experiences. It is easy to get consumed by information, but if you do not actually process, reflect, and learn from it, you ultimately will not benefit from it. If you do not implement (as and when it’s appropriate/applicable) then nothing will change or happen.

Being Consumed By Darkness

Just like day and night, there is the ‘Light’ and ‘Dark’ in other aspects of life. We are made up of our own unique blend of personality traits. There is actually no negative one but there is a light and dark side to each one. Be self-aware when the balance is tipping towards the darkness and bring yourself back towards the light. Take time to learn about yourself, this will enable you to embrace who you are and this in turn will allow you to ‘unleash the power within’ – Tony Robbins.

This also includes positive and negative energy both within you and around you, you need to ensure that your ‘core’ burns bright and is generating positive energy from within. This will help you to negate the negative energy around you in your surrounding environment which potentially could be out of your control to change.

Giving Your Power Away

No Matter What Happens In Life, No One Can Take Away Your Power. The only time is when you give it away because you do not believe in the most important person, which is yourself.

You must take action in order to avoid these ‘poisoned apples’. You will then find that you will always be able to believe that in your own Internal Empire and Kingdom, You are the Queen of Your Own Life and ‘are the fairest of them all’ – in a positive way!
