From CMO to Founder: How Regitze Rønn Grønlund Campbell Is Changing the Game for Small Business Marketing

For many small business owners and marketers, keeping up with digital marketing feels like an endless task—one that often takes a backseat to running a business. Regitze Rønn Grønlund Campbell understands this struggle all too well. As a former CMO, she saw firsthand how time-consuming and overwhelming it can be to constantly create fresh, engaging content. That realization led her to create Digibate, a platform designed to make marketing effortless and accessible for entrepreneurs.

Digibate helps businesses stay consistent with their marketing efforts without the stress of manual content creation and scheduling. With a focus on saving time, cutting costs, and ensuring brand authenticity, it’s built to support small business owners who want to grow without being bogged down by marketing tasks.

In this exclusive interview with Women On Topp, Regitze shares her journey as a female founder, the challenges of breaking into the tech industry, and her advice for entrepreneurs looking to build their brands with confidence.

Let’s dive in.

As a female founder in the tech and AI space, what unique challenges have you faced, and how have you navigated them?

Being a female founder in AI often means walking into rooms where you’re the only woman—which sometimes feels like being a unicorn at a horse convention. You stand out, you know you belong, but people still look at you like you’re lost.

The reality is, the tech and AI space is still heavily male-dominated, and that often means facing moments where you have to prove your expertise more than your counterparts. It can be isolating, but also incredibly motivating. There’s an unspoken pressure to not just be good, but exceptional—because mediocrity isn’t an option when you’re already battling assumptions.

To counter this, when I founded Digibate, I made it a priority to join female-focused entrepreneurial networks and communities. Surrounding myself with like-minded women has been both empowering and inspiring, creating spaces where we can share experiences, support each other, and collaborate. These connections have been instrumental in navigating challenges, building resilience, and pushing for more representation in tech.

The key is to surround yourself with people—regardless of gender—who respect and value what you bring to the table.

Have you ever faced imposter syndrome, and if so, how do you handle it?

Absolutely. In a fast-moving field like AI, it’s easy to feel like you don’t know enough or aren’t experienced enough. When imposter syndrome hits, I remind myself that expertise isn’t about knowing everything—it’s about adaptability and problem-solving. Surrounding myself with mentors, learning continuously, and focusing on measurable impact rather than perfection has helped me push through self-doubt. I also remind myself that every successful entrepreneur has felt the same way at some point, and that’s part of the growth process.

What makes Digibate different from other AI-powered marketing platforms?

Digibate isn’t just another AI tool—it’s designed to be a true marketing partner for small businesses and marketing professionals. While many AI platforms generate generic content, Digibate focuses on brand authenticity and strategic marketing. Our AI doesn’t just create posts; it adapts to your brand voice, ensures consistency, and optimizes content for engagement and visibility.

What sets us apart is our fully automated content creation and scheduling system, allowing users to put their marketing on autopilot without sacrificing quality. From brainstorming fresh ideas to generating SEO-friendly content and automatically scheduling it across platforms, Digibate makes marketing effortless.

Unlike traditional AI marketing tools that feel robotic, Digibate helps businesses maintain a human touch while saving time and money. It’s not just about automation—it’s about creating impactful, high-performing content that grows your business while you focus on what matters most

How does Digibate help small business owners and marketers streamline their marketing efforts?

Digibate eliminates the overwhelm of marketing by automating the entire content creation process, allowing small business owners, solopreneurs and marketers to put their marketing on autopilot. Instead of spending hours brainstorming ideas, writing posts, and scheduling content, users can generate high-quality, brand-aligned content in seconds with AI-powered automation.

Our platform not only creates SEO-optimized blog posts, engaging social media content, and compelling email campaigns, but also ensures that everything is scheduled and published seamlessly across multiple platforms. This means business owners can stay consistent and visible online without the daily grind of manual content creation. By leveraging AI, Digibate allows entrepreneurs to focus on growing their business instead of stressing over marketing—saving time, boosting efficiency, and maximizing their online presence effortlessly.

What are some common marketing mistakes you see small businesses make, and how can Digibate help prevent them?

One of the most common mistakes I see—and one I completely sympathise with—is that marketing often gets deprioritized because business owners are juggling so many responsibilities. When you’re handling operations, customer service, finances, and everything in between, marketing feels like something you’ll “get to later”—but later never really comes. And even when you do find time, staying consistent is a struggle because marketing isn’t just one task; it’s a never-ending cycle of planning, creating, and posting.

I’ve been in that position, and it’s frustrating. You know marketing is crucial for growth, but when you’re wearing so many hats, it’s the first thing to slip through the cracks. That’s actually one of the biggest reasons I founded Digibate—I wanted to take the stress out of marketing so business owners could focus on running their business without feeling guilty about not posting enough or struggling to come up with ideas. Marketing should be something that helps your business thrive, not something that constantly weighs on your to-do list.

What has been the most rewarding part of launching Digibate so far?

The most rewarding part of launching Digibate has been seeing the real impact it has on small businesses and solopreneurs. Hearing from users who used to struggle with marketing—spending hours trying to come up with content ideas, write posts, and keep up with social media—only to now have AI do the heavy lifting for them, is incredibly fulfilling.

Knowing that Digibate has helped entrepreneurs reclaim their time, reduce stress, and grow their brands with ease makes all the hard work worth it. Watching business owners go from feeling overwhelmed by marketing to feeling in control, confident, and excited about their content strategy is exactly why I built this platform.

Beyond that, seeing the community grow—especially among female founders and small business owners stepping into the AI space with confidence—has been inspiring. The fact that Digibate is not just a tool, but a game-changer for so many entrepreneurs, makes this journey incredibly meaningful.

How do you think AI will continue to shape the future of digital marketing?

AI isn’t just shaping the future of digital marketing—it’s rewriting the entire playbook. We’re moving from manual content creation and guesswork to a world where AI can predict trends, personalize experiences, and automate entire marketing workflows with precision.

In the near future, AI will go beyond just generating content—it will analyze real-time engagement, optimize messaging dynamically, and even predict what type of content will perform best before you post it. Marketers will no longer have to rely on trial and error; AI will provide data-driven insights that make campaigns smarter, faster, and more effective.

At Digibate, we’re already leading this revolution, helping businesses put their marketing on autopilot while keeping content authentic and impactful. The brands that embrace AI will gain a massive competitive edge, while those who resist will struggle to keep up. The future isn’t just AI-assisted marketing—it’s AI-driven growth, hyper-personalization, and smarter strategies that redefine how businesses connect with their audiences.

What advice would you give to small business owners who are hesitant about using AI for their marketing?

I understand the hesitation – but here’s the hard truth: businesses that ignore AI today will fall behind tomorrow. The digital landscape is evolving at lightning speed, and AI is no longer a futuristic trend—it’s the secret weapon businesses are already using to grow faster, work smarter, and outshine their competition.

AI doesn’t replace human creativity; it supercharges it. It takes the guesswork out of content creation, automates tedious tasks, and helps businesses stay consistent without the stress of manual marketing. The brands that embrace AI now will dominate their industries, while those who resist will struggle to keep up.

At Digibate, we’ve built an AI-powered marketing platform that takes care of content creation, scheduling, and branding—so small businesses can stay ahead without spending hours on marketing. AI isn’t here to make your business robotic; it’s here to help you work smarter, save time, and grow with confidence. The choice is simple: adopt AI and lead the way, or risk getting left behind
